Spiritual Side

When I was younger, I would use the excuse that I saw no one living a real life for Christ, so I didn’t have to. God showed me an individual who was, and took my excuse away! I surrendered my life to Christ at age 29, telling God I would do whatever He wanted for my life. One of the driving forces behind this is I strongly desire for people to use my life as an encouragement to help their walk with the Lord, and not as an excuse not to.

I have worked hard to follow through on this commitment to the Lord over the past 30 plus years. I call it my “school of hard knocks”! He has given me a variety of ministries over the years to bring me where I am today! Some of those ministries have been, AWANA commander, Team Chaplain for the Richmond Braves baseball team when they were the Triple A team for the Atlanta Braves, teaching Bible studies and Sunday School classes, a variety of ministries with Child Evangelism Fellowship over a 17-year period (including overseeing a national ministry and being State Director of Montana), and over 11 years of experience as a Pastor. God has used all of these things to shape and mold who I am today.

I am very excited about being here at MVBC to help encourage those who attend MVBC to thrive in their walk with the Lord! I also want this group of folks to connect with the community around us to introduce them to the real God and show everyone the great blessing of truly knowing God!

I have been married over 40 years to my lovely bride, Kathy! We have 4 children and 12 grandchildren!

Kathy and I look forward to getting to know folks!

I enjoy the outdoors! Bow hunting is something I have done for many years! I love the beauty of Montana!
